Nancy Ann Rogers, 83, passed away, Monday, September 4, 2017 at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport,

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in The Runge Mortuary Chapel. Tributes may be expressed at www.rungemortuary.com. Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Nancy was born on September 26, 1933 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Jerry and Helen (Humphrey) Sheldon. She was united in marriage to Allen Rogers who preceded her in death on March 2, 2013.

Nancy was born on September 26, 1933 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Jerry and Helen (Humphrey) Sheldon. She was united in marriage to Allen Rogers who preceded her in death on March 2, 2013.

Nancy graduated from Rock Island High School. She retired from John Deere after 27 years of service. She loved animals, traveling, Bingo and bowling. She enjoyed Irish Folklore music and ballroom dancing at the Col Ballroom. She especially enjoyed rock music and loved watching her son play the drums. Dancing along to his music and his "gigs". Nancy was strong and feisty, fighting up until the very end.
Those left to honor her memory include her son and daughter-in-law Scott (Cindy) Reeves; grandchildren Amber, Draven, Rachel, Alexandria, and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Eliyana and a host of many others; cousins Janie Whitney, and Chris, Debra, Carla, and Nikki, and many other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Pat Sheldon.
