Phyllis Emma Frymoyer, 92, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Funeral services will be Monday, March 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Phyllis was born January 16, 1923 in Davenport; the daughter of Adolph and Gertrude (Concannon) Jacobs. She was united in marriage to Leroy R. Frymoyer on May 27, 1950 in Davenport; he preceded her in death in August 20, 1981. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren; her family was everything to her. In her earlier years, Phyllis and her husband were active in the QC Home Builders Association. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Circle, Friendship Club and with the Food Pantry. Phyllis also was a member of the Von Maur Retirees Group. Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Donna (Thomas) Harksen, Davenport and Debra (Michael) Cooney, Milan, IL; grandchildren: Erich Harksen, Jennifer Rice and Faith Leatherman, five great grandchildren and a dear friend, Doris Roth. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Betty Jacobs and a brother, William Jacobs.
