William G. "Bill" Mohr, 100, of Davenport, passed away of natural causes on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Iowa Masonic Home in Bettendorf. Masonic Funeral services will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Runge Mortuary chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Private burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport. Memorials may be to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Online condolences may be left at www.rungemortuary.com.

Bill was born October 27, 1914 in Scott County, IA; the son of Alfons and Mable (Kloppenburg) Mohr. He married Nelda Rostenbach at the Little Brown Church on September 23, 1939; she preceded him in death in 1985.
Bill was employed by the Rock Island Arsenal during World War II and for 34 years by the Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric Co. at the Riverside Power Plant from which he retired in 1977. He was a member of the Davenport Lodge #37, AF&AM, KAABA Shrine (where he was the oldest member), Davenport Consistory, Moose and Elks Lodges and other organizations.
He is survived by his daughter, Rosanne (Russ) Negley, Independence, IA; daughter-in-law, Linda Mohr; nine grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, William J., brother, Everett and a special friend, Margret Rice of Schoolcraft, MI.
